Board Director James Markley
James Markley serves on the Board of Directors for GPS4Vets and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning technology, government, defense, and nonprofit organizations.
Throughout his career, James has supported domestic and foreign military missions through technology, operations, compliance, and organizational leadership roles. His experience includes working with organizations supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, government contractors, allied military partners, and national defense initiatives.
A lifelong advocate for service and community engagement, James has served as a Rotary Club President, District leadership volunteer, youth leadership board member, elected City Commissioner, and nonprofit board member. His passion for service stems from a belief that strong communities are built when people step forward to support those facing adversity.
As a GPS4Vets board member, James is committed to helping women impacted by Military Sexual Trauma find stability, dignity, and opportunity through safe housing and supportive services. He is honored to support the organization’s mission and its work to empower veterans as they rebuild their lives.
James resides in the Tampa Bay area with his wife and family and remains actively involved in civic, charitable, and veteran-focused initiatives throughout the community.
